Sierra James Construction is a locally owned company, founded by fourth-generation builder Jesse Rowden and partner Charley Roberts in 2017. Sierra James Construction is Central Oregon’s trusted expert in Design-Build-Remodel and Disaster Restoration services.

Our Design-Build-Remodel team specializes in custom home construction, whole-home renovations, ADUs, additions, and high-end kitchen and bathroom remodels. As a full-service design-build firm, we guide clients through every step, from architectural design and feasibility to permitting, construction, and finishing. We deliver thoughtful, high-quality spaces built for Central Oregon living.

Sierra James Construction has been deeply involved in the City of Bend’s Pre-Approved ADU and Single-Family Dwelling Plan Program, including building the first pre-approved ADU in the City of Bend. Our on-staff architect also designed four additional plans for the City’s pre-approved plan library, including two accessible plans certified by LiveAble Homes.

We also specialize in multigenerational living, accessibility, universal design, and aging-in-place solutions, creating homes that are beautiful, functional, and adaptable for every stage of life. Through our on-staff architect and partnership with LiveAble Homes, we help clients design spaces that support comfort, safety, and long-term livability, without sacrificing style.

Our Disaster Restoration division provides 24/7 emergency response for residential, commercial, and multifamily properties. We specialize in water damage mitigation, fire and smoke restoration, mold remediation, storm damage repair, and pest damage restoration. From emergency stabilization to full repairs & reconstruction, our experienced team handles the entire process and helps clients navigate insurance claims with confidence.

In addition, we provide multifamily building assessments to identify and address damage caused by chronic wear, weather exposure, moisture intrusion, and time, helping property owners proactively protect their investments and plan for long-term maintenance and repairs.
