Republic Services of Central Oregon is the region’s premier provider of waste management and recycling solutions, operating across Bend, Redmond, Sisters, Prineville, La Pine, and surrounding communities. With 145 local employees at four area facilities, they offer a comprehensive suite of services, including:

• Curbside collection: garbage, single-stream recycling, yard debris, and food waste (launched for Bend in 2019) .
• Drop-off and depot services: via Deschutes Recycling at Knott Landfill.
• Container rentals: drop boxes for construction, cleanups, and events.
• Composting programs & food-waste initiatives: processing organics into nutrient-rich compost sold locally.
• Document destruction: secure disposal for sensitive paperwork
